Activities and Amenities

In addition to the activities below, we provide a list of Weekend Activities including games, bingo, kids crafts, etc. on our Facebook page.

River and Swimming Hole

Among the wonderful aspects of nature in the Last Green Valley, the Natchaug river runs right behind our lovely campsites. Campers are able to enjoy the water on hot summer days in our swimming hole which marks the head of the Natchaug river! The small rapids make for a lovely tubing experience for all ages. Tubes can be purchased at our camp store or brought from home.

Playground and Outside Games

Our campground also includes numerous outdoor activities for campers of all ages. The playground includes a playscape and swing set as well as a nearby basketball court and horseshoe pit where we hold horseshoe tournaments every few weekends. In another section of the campground there is a large soccer field. You can borrow soccer balls, basketballs, baseball bats, hula hoops, and so many more fun toys from our rec hall!

Rec-Hall Games and Camp Store

Our rec hall hosts weekly bingo games as well as special events. The hall includes pool tables, air hockey, shuffle board, a flat screen tv, and board games. On top of that, we have our lovely camp store where you can find delicious treats, such as ice cream and candy, fun toys, and some camping "essentials".

Pavilions and Restrooms

Near our visitor parking lot, we have a bath house that includes restrooms, showers, and a laundry room. These facilities are cleaned daily by our friendly staff and open for your convenience. Our pavilion holds weekend activities and entertainment. It includes picnic tables, nightly lighting and music equipment when entertainment is booked.

River and Lake Fishing

Our on site lake and part of the river are also used for fishing. Each year we stock our river and pond with tons of fish right before our opening weekend also known as fishing weekend. On this weekend there is a contest for who can catch the biggest fish!
